Vector announces headquarternissan.com to Joomla community
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=514&t=543111 Vector Informatics has designed this site using Joomla 1.5 and the JA T3 template framework. Content rich, making use of components for functionality (such as RS Form Pro, Autostand, many others).
We are making a case to use Joomla as a framework across multiple dealer sites, and would greatly appreciate the feedback of the community. This site needs to be the best Joomla site out there if we are to make a solid case to use Joomla as a framework for dealership website development. Joomla provides enough functionality both on the front end and the backend, both with templates and database management, to provide an environment to run an entire car dealership. This includes: Internet Marketing (SEO), Lead collection and CRM, Database Management (Autostand Joomla component), easy content creation (Articles created by managers), and a plethora of components such as Forums, Chat applications, Video, and basically anything you can imagine, through the Joomla extensions directory. And most importantly, for functions not provided by component vendors, Joomla’s open source API leaves open any development possibility.
Joomla provides ease of template installation and modification, database functionality, and an open API for development.. What more could a CMS provide?
